The Banner Story

Hello people!

I just thought i should keep this section active so here is another post!

Excitingly, we finally got a new banner which gave the website that "musical feel"

So no more seeing the New York bridge video on our website ( I am not sure what the name of it is but it looks like a New York's Bridge to me haha)

But yeah yesterday Trang Ha (Our Designer) sent me her design of the new banner and I've been in love with it since then!

I gave her the idea of using our slogan (going to talk about it later) , she said she would put the quote on a music-related background so i thought "sounds simple sounds good", to be honest i was like "maybe i can do that too, I made many designs for this website too", but OMG when she sent me, it completely blew me away!

Like "Noooo, i wouldnt be able to make it this amazing,and goshhh, sis, you studied Psychology, now working in PwC and sending me this awesome design, what should i even say about you.." hahaa crazily talented people in my life though...

Loveeee being surrounded by inspiring people like her!! OK OK no more compliments for you Trang. These are 2 versions she sent over.

Told ya i am in love with her design, simple but its exactly what i want my theme to be. I used the second one as it goes with the logo and the theme. Actually they are both blue-ish, but i dont know haha second one stands out to me. Thank you Trang and welldone!

Now let's talk about our quote

"Let's do something random, turn it into something awesome"

This quote is soooo "V" , because V is so random!

If you are joining us, you are entering a place you are not sure of the address yet, you are going in a world of music where you have no clues of what kind of songs and who exactly are going to perform, so why you are still into it? I dont know! You might not know too! But if you're in, we are going to turn that random thing to an awesome experience!

This quote was inspired from one of my favourite song from my hugeee inspiration Yuna, have a listen to it, and check her other songs out tooooo! I have been sharing her music for years now but not many people noticed her like how she deserves yet:( Probably not till the media starts to say OMG SHE IS AWESOME then everyone will follow! That is something I don't like but still feel amazed about how the media drives people's minds ( let's stop here otherwise i would bring out all the media theories here..)

But it's okay, she is still doing music, and I always believe "lower-profiled" people are cooler! haha! I like it that way! And liking a person who not many ppl like gives you a good feel too, like you are cooler than the "mainstream" peeps ( oh no let's not go here I might analyse it like a media essays..)

The original lyrics is "Let's watch something random turned into something awesome"

I think that is even more related, however, I still wrote it the other way, I dont know why but I love the idea of it sounding like "Let's do this"

The song even starts with "It all begins at a show one weekend.." haha told ya she is my huge inspiration! I love random things, you know little things that happen spontaneously, they arent little!
